Southeast Asia MVPs Joins Worldwide In Leading Windows Azure Bootcamp In Their Local Countries

The Global Windows Azure Bootcamp is a the BIGGEST global MVP-driven roadshows to date. MVPs worldwide offer a full day of Windows Azure training completely for FREE on the same day – April 27, 2013. It was a magnificent reach of a total of 154 speakers, 194 sessions, 7,432 attendees in 96 locations!

This event was sparked off from the idea of Sweden Windows Azure MVP Magnus Martensson, who has written the training kit and hosting all of the content on his site. Using these resources, and with the help of worldwide MVPs to lead the same session in their respective country, the Azure Bootcamp is now by far the largest MVP-led event!

The one day deep dive class focus on developing for Windows Azure, with deep real world experience and a series of labs to practice what you’ve learned.

10 SEA MVPs from Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines join the worldwide movement to lead the Windows Azure Bootcamp in their local countries respectively. They took on roles as the main organizers, speakers and volunteers to run the entire event from technical overview sessions to deep dive labs and Q&A. Indonesia Office System MVP Aris Lesmana has published an e-Book written in Bahasa Indonesia language for the Indonesian community!

Aris told us that in Indonesia, not all people especially students have an "always on" internet connection, and that is what motivates him to write a FREE ebook based on his recent article series in TechNet Wiki titled "Mengenal Formula pada Excel" (EN: Introduction to Excel Formula), so anyone now can read his articles offline.

This FREE ebook covers the fundamental concepts about formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel. Each chapters are presented in step-by-step instructions. In the beginning the readers will learn about what a formula is, what a formula can do, and what is the rules when creating a formula. Indonesia MVP Goes On Air @ 93.4FM In Bogor For The 1st Time To Introduce The Local User Groups & Microsoft Products

Great advocacy from Indonesia Windows Expert IT Pro MVP Tutang MM, together with Riswan (Chairman of MUGI Priangan) and two Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs) Luthfia R and Dian M, at a recent radio session on air for 93.4FM in Bogor!

This is one of a rare chance where they get to introduce the local technical communities such as Microsoft User Group Indonesia (MUGI) and Windows Server System Indonesia (WSS-ID), and encourage others to join them in learning and sharing technical knowledge on radio.

Tutang also gave a preview of the latest software products launched by Microsoft recently including Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, Office 2013, Windows Azure, Windows Phone 8 and more. Radio 93.4FM has a broadcasting reach of more than 500 audience during Tutang’s session.

Singapore MVP Shares Tips and Tactics On Selling Office 365 With Microsoft Partners

Great advocacy from Singapore MVP Triston Wan at Microsoft Cloud Essentials Day event held in Singapore, on April 3, which saw 50 partners coming together to learn on tactics of selling Office 365, and explore new opportunities in Windows Intune, and ways to win against competition.

Exchange Server MVP Triston Wan co-speak with Senior Product Marketing Manager, Alan Dias on ‘Face Off with Google’ session to help partner understand how to position themselves in order to compete with Google Apps for business.

Triston shared with us that he talked about what kind of value proposition Office 365 can offer to the customer as compare to Google Apps for Business, and how partners can sell Office 365 and in particularly compete with Google App for business.

He was also one of the Subject Matter Expert at ‘Ask The Experts’ session, to answer any questions the partners may have on Office 365.
