TechNet Makati Session: Windows Server 2008 R2 – Accessing data anytime and anywhere

Facilitated and organized by Philippines SetUp/Deployment MVP Jay-R Barrios with support by the MS Philippines local office, the TechNet Makati session kicked off on Sept 24 at the Microsoft Philippines office in Makati city.

Philippine Windows Users Group active community member John Pierre Delizo delivered a session on ‘Windows Server 2008 R2 – Direct Access Overview Synopsis’ in this event. John shared how mobile users are getting more and more popular nowadays and mobile users will be needing access to the data anywhere and anytime. With Windows Server 2008 R2’s Direct Access, one can enable mobile workers to access data anytime and anywhere without the use of a virtual private network because all they need to have is an internet access. Check out John’s blog entry and click here for more photos.
