Why is your book especially important now?

Applications are becoming more complex in order to compete in today’s market. Yesterday it was MFC, COM, HTML, Windows Forms, and so on; today, it is Rich Internet Applications. With the complexity of today’s applications, developers cannot afford to struggle with the basic building blocks such as collections.

What is the single most important thing readers of your book will be able to do after reading your book?

Developer’s Guide to Collections helps developers use and understand collections. Since collections are the basic building blocks of applications, this knowledge is a very valuable skill set to have.
