Microsoft and Brunei MVP Open Dell’s Workshop with Focus on Windows Server 2008 R2

By the invitation from Microsoft Brunei, Brunei MVP Akfash Abdul Lathibu joined hands with the local subsidiary to deliver and demo a session on Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V at the ‘Workshop on 12th Generation Dell PoweEdge Servers’, held at Brunei Darussalam, on Jun 13th, 2012.

As quoted by MVP Akfash Abdul Lathibu: “Attendees now have an understanding on features such as Dynamic Memory, Live Migration of Hyper-V as well as we created an awareness among the participants that Hyper-V is a feature of Windows Server 2008 R2 and doesn’t have to be purchased separately like other competing products. Along with this,  I spoke on the newer features that will be introduced in Hyper-V 3.0 in Windows Server 2012, features such as NIC Teaming, Fibre Channel Support, Resource Metering, etc. If the participants are aware of this then I would definitely make an impact on Microsoft.”

The workshop saw 90 attendees, with general feedbacks was that the session was good and informative.
